We got our start helping everyday homebuyers who kept hitting walls with traditional mortgage qualification. Along the way, we saw a bigger opportunity: the same funding strategies that help someone qualify for a home can be structured and scaled into serious business capital the kind that funds flips, covers rehab costs, and finances the next rental acquisition, without draining personal savings or waiting years to save up cash.
That shift became the foundation of what we do now.

Raymond Reyes, CEO and Founder
Raymond "Real Estate Ray" Reyes has spent the last decade-plus immersed in real estate — as a Realtor, a property manager, and an investor in his own right. From flipping distressed properties to building turn-key rentals, Ray has been in the trenches of every side of the business, working hands-on with private lenders and bankers along the way. That experience taught him something most investors learn the hard way: your credit profile isn't just a number it's often the single biggest factor standing between you and your next deal.
As Ray built his own portfolio, he became a serial entrepreneur, launching multiple businesses along the way and discovered that the same credit strategies that funded his real estate deals could unlock an entirely different kind of capital: business funding. It's a resource many investors don't even know exists, let alone how to access and for Ray, tapping into it was the turning point that took his investing from limited by personal capital to genuinely scalable.
Once he saw what that kind of funding could do for his portfolio, his businesses, and his financial freedom he knew he couldn't keep it to himself. That realization became the foundation for Forthright Consulting, LLC: a mission to help other investors and entrepreneurs discover the same path to funding, freedom, and real, lasting wealth.
